Corrections policy

The terms and standards that govern this publication and its services.

Report an error

If a project profile contains an incorrect name, credit, URL, category, image or other factual detail, contact hello@webawards.uk. Include the profile URL, the information that is wrong, the requested correction and a source that supports it.

What happens next

We review the evidence against the submission record and reliable first-party information. Straightforward factual errors are corrected as soon as they can be verified. If the request is disputed or incomplete, we may ask for further evidence before changing the public record.

Scope of a correction

Corrections address facts and attribution. They do not automatically reopen the editorial assessment or change an award level. A request concerning an award decision is considered separately under the published judging process and programme rules.

Transparency

Minor spelling, formatting and broken-link fixes may be made without a notice. When an error materially changes who made the work, what was recognised or when it was recognised, the updated profile should make the corrected record clear.

Removal requests

Requests involving privacy, legal rights or sensitive personal information receive separate review. Please explain the basis of the request and provide a reliable way for us to verify that you are authorised to make it.
